I know how many will react to this... but I'm gonna talk about it anyway
Both of my parents experienced physical death due to overwhelming cancer cells growing in their bodies. Mom found her cancer early and spent half her life battling it. Dad didn't find his until it was too late for him to fight it. I've half heartedly expected myself to develop cancer since both of them did, but up until now, I've been cancer free. Well, I STILL believe I am cancer free. I checked in with my angelic spirit guides, AND my own body (I talk to my body and asked it), and they assure me that I am not growing any cancer cells inside my body.
But my doctor recommended that I do what he recommends everyone else in my age group does, and get tested for colon cancer. I used the home-test technique, which I did a few years ago too, and received a negative test result (last time).. this time though it came back with a positive test result. Which is the reason my doctors office has been calling me everyday since the results came in. He wants to instruct me to schedule a colonoscopy. Thing is, I do not want to undergo that treatment. Partly out of fear, even though I do not feel fear in my mind or body, but the fear is well grounded because many times the process of a colonscopy is not done properly and damage is done to the patients bodies.
This brings me back to memories of one of the last things I remember my mom saying. "I'm tired of being poked and probed and cut into and used as an experiment for those doctors." None of what the medical professionals did worked to cure her.
This whole thing, this fear of death, I'm tired of it. I'm going to die. It's assured. The wonder of this fact is that I do not know how or when this event will happen. Well, at least I have not climbed high enough into clear consciousness yet to perceive this future event. But through the soul searching and conversations with God and my spirit guides I've engaged in, I do not believe I will die from cancer. I am too powerful of a being of light for that dark shizz to grow in my body. And even if it were to slip into my body, I believe I know enough tools, and enough other spiritual healers to be able to heal myself of it.
And another other thing is that these home colon cancer tests come back with false positive results all the time. In addition to that, I have no known symptoms occurring in my body. I'll call my doctor back tomorrow and tell him that thanks, but no thanks. I'm not giving in to the fear program. And maybe he'll get a healing from my positive attitude...

I do know that colon cancer is a slow growth cancer. And I believe that when treated early, the treatment is not too radical.
I also know that colonoscopies are done thousands of times a day and the percentage of things going wrong are very low.
I know it is a hard decision. I have had one colonoscopy (around 55). When I turn 65, I will get tested and would consider another colonoscopy if advised to do so.
My thoughts are with you, my friend.
