Right! Well, you know, I had a little bit of hope that I was going to get to break my pattern of no romance on Valentine's Day. And it's not romance I'm looking for. Not really. Not on the surface anyway. Last year, totally by chance I met someone that I got to spend several hours with on Valentine's Day. Some of you remember, the young lady Julia that I photographed for my Cemetery Girl project? We had such a great platonic experience that afternoon that we decided to get together one more time, about 2 weeks later. Took more photos on a rainy afternoon. Went to a thrift store where I actually found the exact things I wanted; a miniature rhino, dinosaur, and elephant to give to the Adrian Belew Trio as gifts when I was going to see them the next night.
