I use an online social networking application called BrightKite ( brightkite.com ). The purpose of the site is to assist your friends that live in your city to know where you are. For instance, when I go to Starbucks I "sign in" to BrightKite and it sends out a message to the people I have friended that use the site, and, if any of them are in that neighborhood they could drop by and visit me. Kind of cool, eh? Well, the only thing is that I don't know anyone in my town other than people that work in the businesses I frequent, so it's kind of a waste of my time to use this application. Woke up EARLY this morning to take my mom to San Francisco to meet her friend Ellen. It was an experience different for me than any I've had in a long time. We went to a museum; The Legion of Honor to see the display of paintings by female impressionists. It's probably been over 30 years since I've been inside the LoH, and if I had thought about it better, I would have taken more photographs of the day than I have to show you here. I'm just so out of practice taking photos with my phone, or of thinking in a documentary way of mind. Rodin display room in Legion of Honor. Green Apple Book Store on Clement Street Irish Pub on Clement Street with a great deal on Pabst & Jamesons!

this is amazing!

the video you just viewed was filmed from my Nokia 6103 cell phone while i was driving north on hiway 680, just past the Livorna Road exit in Alamo, California. i sent it via phone message to my private YouTube account and now it is visible for the world to see! the memory requirements on the phone restrict me from shooting anything longer than 10 second clips. something to look forward to will be longer clips when i get the new Blackberry Pearl!
