750 words - day 5

This is the 5th day in a row of writing on 750words.com and I feel like I'm getting into a groove where my writing is becoming more fluid, and I also hope, it's more interesting to the couple of readers that I have on my blog, where I am sharing these jottings. Earlier today some thoughts occurred to me that I want to explore here now. I was taking into consideration the type of women that I have become close to in my life. I wasn't looking at this from the perspective of what type of women I am attracted to, but seeing in retrospect which types were actually successful in winning my trust. They seem to be of a classification that in appearances to me are of a regal type nature. I'll use the most obvious woman that I've had a relationship with as an example first. I was in a relationship with a woman of rather high British societal standing. She was the daughter of an acclaimed British academician (a leader in the field of Anthropology) and who was a professor emer...

diving deeper into Venuvian vibes...

I didn't write about Moon Trine Venus, which is the 3rd trine that is found in my natal chart... but since the April 30th, 2022 eclipse yesterday I'm feeling inclined to do some explorations about memories of past relationships with women friends and see if I can use this energy to plant seeds for discovering new potential friends in my future. I'm actually quite content with my twin-flame'ish friendship I have with Scarlett, but there are limitations about how intimate my friendship with her can become. I feel like my heart is yearning for a deeper, more fulfilling, and committed experience, perhaps with a new person altogether.. I mentioned feeling the soul-energy of Michelle coming thru in my dream yesterday, and I'll say more about her later... but the person on my mind today, oddly, is Denise. I have felt for some time a lack of presence of Denise's energy on the planet... so I'm partly convinced that she has passed over. She had a lot of health issues...

thoughts on astrology...

Learning astrology, for me, has been a long and tedious process. I've been interested in it since I was in my late teens and I've made attempts over the years to better understand it, but it's like taking a cup of water out of the ocean and trying to analyze it... you see a lot of interesting things in that little cup but the vastness of the ocean lures you in to want to learn more... and the vastness of astrology and all that you can learn from it IS vast like the universe it is based on interpreting. How there are some/many people in the world that have a working understanding of astrology blows my mind. That they have learned enough to become confident enough to talk at length about it's mysteries, well, it's just mind blowing to me... I have not in my half-baked studies come anywhere near having even a base knowledge that enables to give or share insights with others. I think this is just yet another reflection of how Chiron in my 3rd house has made it difficul...

Fallow-een...

I have not felt the October-spirit of Halloween for a very long time. Other than driving around neighborhoods with my mom to look at how other people decorated their homes, I have not participated in Halloween activities since my son was a young boy. This is not because I do not enjoy this holiday and this season. It's because of a lack of connection I feel with other people that I can share the experience with. I don't dress up on the 31st. I don't give out candy. I don't make my house look haunted (it already looks haunted, and probably IS haunted). And I don't go to Halloween parties. I don't think I've ever been to a Halloween party. So there's that... Contrarily, I pretty much celebrate the spirit and energy of Halloween-ish things every day of my life. I watch at least one horror film or paranormal TV show a day. I love being in cemeteries. I do rituals to heal my dead ancestors. I'm fascinated with gothic art and symbols of death. I spent a ...

a hermit struggling to be part of a crowd...

I went out tonight to one of the two, monthly free Reiki clinics at HCH in Lafayette. It's my third time to attend there for the night time clinic. Tonight one of the Reiki masters that gave me my attunement was leading the clinic. She made me feel really welcome and even invited me to work with the practitioners giving Reiki to people who came for healing. I chose to wait to see how I felt after I received Reiki. I've been really consistent with giving myself daily self-healing sessions of Reiki. I don't think I've ever missed more than one day of self-treatment in the entire time since I was attuned back on August 13th. But there is something noticeably different about healing yourself and receiving Reiki from another person. At least I have noticed this from my own personal experiences. Sometimes the Reiki you receive from another person is very, very powerful. And sometimes it's not. (At least what you are consciously aware of feeling.) The last time I receive...
