This was after the show, walking home alone...

There is only one thing "bad" about going to a Bob Dylan concert, and that is having to go alone. Not having someone to talk to about the show afterwards, or to get excited with when he is singing an especially liked song. Kind of a drag.

You went! You got to watch him perform in person.
I wouldn't even been able to get in the car to get there. If you lived closer, I would of been begging you to take hubby with you.
I've only been to one concert my whole life, and hubby took me to it. Poor Man, about the third song I ditched him and made a run for the truck. I listened to the concert from the truck.
I'm glad you went even if it was alone.

awww, BlackBird i would definitely have gone to see Dylan with your -=hubby=-. i looked at his website and saw his handiworks, he seems like a real and natural man. what concert was it that you went to that scared you so much you had to run?

I can't remember his name, He is famous for Space Cowboy. Does that help.
It wasn't him that scared me, it was an outside concert, and hubby had picked a spot close to the stage. So when the concert started and everyone started crowding me, it was more then I could take.

Space Cowboy, that would be Steve Miller. ah yes, those open field crowds get excited when a show starts the crush of people can be very, very frightening. i understand entirely how you reacted. you should try another concert where you have reserved seats. What bands are you into Blackbird?

LOL, I have been to my son's school concerts, and once the place was packed with parents I started having a panic attack.
I think hubby was very glad that I chew my nails that day. Me and any type of large gathering of people just don't mix.

The first time Isis at a Dylan Concert was 2000or1. I'd been a fan since I saw him on hulabalo or shindig or one of those in the early 60's TV shows. Man the electricity that flowed through the crowd. I remember thinking,"this is what it must have been like on the shores of Gallalie or on the mound waiting for Jesus to speak" I've never thought of him as a spokesman for generation/s or any such crap as that. Just the magic of riddle and rhyme delivered by an imperfect working class guy.

what a profound comparison Mr. Hayseed. i like that, "the riddle and rhyme of an imperfect working class guy...". Isis is a great song; powerful. thanks for commenting!
