this is one of the best starts to a new year that i've had in quite a long time. photo project is in full swing, health is not too bad, although i am still suffering from some issues regarding muscle aches and cramping. a very amazing friend gifted me with $100 in cash recently and i've decided to spend it on a massage. booked one this afternoon that will happen on Thursday at noon. i'm already raving about this massage therapist because she has already made me feel good from just talking to her on the phone. so here is my pre-massage plug for her; Wendy . next week i go to Los Angeles for one of the most exciting endeavors of my entire life. i am going to spend an afternoon photographing a very talented, beautiful, and highly adored writer at Hollywood Forever Cemetery for my Cemetery Girl project. this is the tantamount experience of my photography career to date. what doors this may open for me, i am as of yet unaware of. i feel that it will open many doors though. of ...

i've been in need of, and in search of a writing mentor for a number of years now, and well, this week she found me. she is offering all of the support that i have hungered for. the companionship and attention i have believed would help me obtain the focus i need to get focused enough to pour out this novel, and finish writing it. how she has the time for me, i do not understand. maybe she is intrigued by my story and would like to be able to read it. i think she does this for others too, as she is a professional writer and teacher. i just feel blessed that i've slipped into her camp and that she appreciates what i have brainstormed so far, and that she shares a sense of both belief and expectation in me, that i can and will finish this project. in a way, this is evidence of me shifting into a high gear of manic activity, and i know that i should be wary of over extending myself. i am pulling back the reigns on the photo project, which i clearly have already overextended myself...
