just a quick note about tattwa
Tattwa cards are a meditation tool created by members of the Golden Dawn organization. I'm just starting to experiment using them when I meditate. They are reported to be a tool offering quickest access to the astral realms.
I made a random selection from the deck tonight and began a meditation that only lasted about 10 minutes. So, you focus without blinking on the image on the card for as long as you can. I repeated my guru's mantra, Om Namah Shivaya while I focused on the image, to help keep my mind from wandering.
I let the rule of "not blinking" be my guideline for when to become able to close my eyes and "meditate". When I reached that point I simply let go of the card and closed my eyes.
I did not get a very strong representation of the card's image inside my inner version, so I just accepted an energy representation of its presence. I let it fill the full, inner space of my mind's eye. I approached it, and entered it. This is when things began to happen.
I felt transported back to the "remote viewing control panel" and quickly received a nudge to ask to see the last moments of my father's life, right before he died when he was only 36 years old. I have NEVER thought of wanting to see this or wanted to know about what his death was like before. It was not a preformed thought, not in the slightest.
Now, I'll continue to remind you that I do not believe that I have enough mental or soul power to be able to go very deep into meditative states yet (thus short meditation times, like only 11 minutes) so I did not get to a point of relaxation where I could examine the scene in great detail. In this session, I mainly picked up on his emotions - that he was scared, and lonely, as well as being in great pain. He was sorrowful that he did not get to see me and my brother more than he did, and he was sad that he did not get to say goodbye to us directly. I did also get a cursory vision of what the room looked like. I saw the nurse that discovered that he had died. And I'm pretty sure that I saw a pack of cigarettes of the brand he used to smoke. Not sure why those would have been allowed to be there, but maybe a visitor (like my Uncle Dion) had felt pity for him and gave him one to smoke, full well knowing that he was near death.
So I let that vision go and I realized that my Aunt Lari was probably nearby, so I called out for her and asked her if I could see the person that I was in the past life right before I began to live this current life that I'm inside right now. Immediately I felt like I was in Sweden. And I saw an old woman. Also, I felt the presence of L & S, and felt that there must have been some sort of betrayal that I committed against them.
I want to do more work with this style of meditation, but I need to feel better, I believe to succeed at it. I've not been feeling the greatest physically over the past week. I should probably get more rest, but can't seem to be able to.
