18 years old and a champion!
this is a photo of me, not sure who took it though. my friend Alan, who i have known since high school sent me a scan of it though. the year was 1976 and i was a senior at Monte Vista High School in Danville, California.
Pommel Horse had been my specialty since i was about 13 years old and i won my first medal in a competition as a freshman. i was the first person to ever win a medal in gymnastics in the history of our school. this year i went on to place first in the Northern State championships.
