accidental(?) discovery of a healing method I've never tried b4
So I was having a discussion with my best friend tonight about the difficulties in learning how to use a pendulum as part of performing psychic readings, technically called "scrying". Scrying is loosely described as looking into "the void" for answers to questions we would not ordinarily have reason for knowing. This is most popularly associated with "gazing into a crystal ball", but one can also gaze onto a body of water, or gaze at passing clouds... it's not so much to "see things", such as shapes or designs that associate with recognizable answers to the questions the psychic is pondering, but rather to elevate or catapult the psychic into an open mode of receeptivity where one can receive answers from the "place of greater wisdom". Gazing into a crystal ball, you can suddenly click into a quasi trance state where information can begin to float into and thru your mind. Attempting to do this with a pendulum, where the psycic uses a sheet of paper that has answers for the pendulum to swing towards is in some ways a more elementary method for accessing this source of information, because there is a structure that is easier for the linear mind to step up from... there are letters and numbers and other sorts of answers to basic questions that can be asked.
For instance, the psychic may ask the pendulum to reveal the place name where something lost could be found. If I misplaced my watch, I could ask the pendulum to swing in such a manner as to spell out the name of the room in my house where the watch was last placed. At this point the psychic surrenders all power of fore knowledge and has faith that the truthful answer will be revealed. This creates a problem tho. The psychic has to surrender the power of their own intuition and have faith that a source of higher wisdom can move thru their body, and generate movement in the pendulum that will spell out the truthful answer. A skeptical psychic may very well be shooting themselves in the foot right from the very start using this method.
This is the exact type of experience my friend was having, and she proceeded to ask me to use "my pendulum" to ask her why she was having trouble using her pendulum. I picked up my pendulum, but before I even started to state the question I felt a flash of pressure in my third eye. Thge pressure was so strong that I could not ignore it as a signla that information was coming into my awareness that was very important for me to discern.
So I put the pendulum down on the table and closed my eyes and relaxed so that the incoming vision could develop and tell it's story. What I saw was my friend, in a lifetime different than this current one that she is living, dressed in a dark uniform and kneeling down in mud amidst a storm. Her hands were folded at her chest in prayer and she was clutching a rosary, muttering prayers under her breath.
In that sudden flash of a vision I felt an indepth explanation of the beginning of an answer to what my friend is struggling with. That rosary that she clung to was her doorway to the inner world where God dwelled inside her psyche. She bestowed so much faith and belief into that small piece of jewelry that it became a magical talisman for her to be able to invoke the presence of God right before her eyes, her "inner eyes" where she could have the answers to her prayers expalined to her.
And this is what I believe the pendulum is trying to become for my friend today. But she's holding on to too much mental logic as the magic key to explain the answers that the pendulum is trying to reveal to her. What she needs to do next is take away the "pendulum board" and no longer look for answers to be spelled out for her human eyes to read, and begin to use her "inner eyes" to see the answers revealed to her inside the space of her inner, intuitive display screen..... Okay, yeahhh, I couldn't get to sleep tonight with out getting this experience spelled out a little bit here....
