just a few quick words before I dive off into the full moon...

Good chance I won't get to write a decent blog entry this weekend so I'll just let you know what is going on now. And give you a couple of recent photos to look at. I got invited to a birthday party by one of my classmates. It is happening tonight in the little town of Port Costa. I've only officially been invited to occasions like this a few memorable times. Like twice. Once was a New Years Eve party that kids from my high school threw. They weren't a gang that I hung out with but apparently they found me interesting. I have no recollection of how I got home that night, but there are still memorable images in my head. That was the last time I saw my friend Grant alive too. Hmm, there was another party to mention but now I can't even think of it. My point is that I don't go to parties. I don't socialize with people easily except when I'm manic. I have no reservations about going tonight. I like these 3 people that are going to be there; Spencer (it's his 20th birthday - and I'm NOT going to make him listen to The Resident's version of Happy Birthday), Monica, and Rachel. They are the only ones I know. God, what a blur in the history of the world I am.

Anyway, I "may" be on a guest list for a concert in San Francisco tomorrow night. I told the manager of Spindriftthat I would attend the show one way or the other and that I would photograph them. Going with good friend Steve. Then I have a huge amount of photographs to prepare for critiques in classes on Monday and Wednesday. That is what I have to do on Sunday - as well as sleep. So if I am able to say more later I will.

These are a couple of my latest artistic endeavors (below).

Have fun at the party tonight and
thanks for sharing more photographs.
I went about the towns here today and going back tomorrow for a bit. I'm hoping to get some writing in this weekend. I have a module I need to complete as well as getting caught up on some sleep.

Have a great time at the party. I don't venture out that much either. I used to all the time when I was younger though. Looks like it's going to be another writing weekend here.

Thanks you two for the well wishes. It turned out to be more of a "soiree " than a party as there were only 6 of us. It was a very casual evening with good company and good conversation. Here is a link to the photos I shot there and in Port Costa last night. Port Costa. I'm going back out there one day this week (during the day!) to meet with Monica - the woman that lives there as she wants to give me a walking tour of the town. I tell you, meeting this woman is going to have an impact on my work. I can just feel it.

That's great that she's going to give you a tour. I already know you're going to take photos so I'm not even going to ask you too...lol. Glad you had a nice time the other night. Smaller gatherings are always best. That way everyone's not talking over each other. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

I agree, smaller crowds always win me over too. Good luck with Monica and get some rest.
