This Cryptic Illusion {high praise!}

I want to put in a plug for a good friend of mine. I consider K.D. Cowan to be a philosophical poet. She is also an artist and graphic designer. She has a wry sense of humor and classically trained wit that she uses to depict current events and trends as displayed in her latest online form of expression; Graphic Chaotica that she calls This Cryptic Illusion. It is a fantastic viewpoint of our daily lives in this whacked-out world offered in a weekly strip format. Please stop by her site, check out her very cool merchandise (well, buy something!) and subscribe to her RSS feed.

Was it the benefits of hard work? Or luck? Or karmic justice? Now I cannot even afford the price of a tank of gas for a day trip to Santa Cruz and my body aches so much from the mental woes and worries my mental disease inflicts me with, I'm afraid that if I got into the 50 degree waters for 30 minutes of body surfing that my musc...
