just gonna try to spit this entry out... quickly

So you know when you read a novel, the preface is full of gratitude the author expresses to all the people that helped them write and complete their books, helping them along the way with inspiration, encouragement, assistance with research, and editing, and all the other difficult and menial tasks that it takes to get a book successfully accepted by a publisher? Sometimes there are pages of names listed, depending on how many people the author could recruit to help them do this monumental task of writing a book.  Wouldn't you just love to have your own name listed in the preface of a book written by someone you know and love? Well, maybe this is your lucky day! Because I have the draft of a novel that I've written that needs a lot of work done to help it become ready to send to a publisher, and I'm looking for helpers! I'm literally at the point where this story has sitten on my computer, unopened and unthought-of for years now, and I'm almost to the stage where i...

new year, but my only resolution is...

to be as attuned to pursuing the attainment of my life's purpose as much as humanly and divinely possible each and every day. I'm setting no concrete goals that I want to attain because these usually end up turning into limitations for me. Usually, I set too high of a goal, and when I find it unattainable my hopes crumble. By waking up to a clean slate every day I'll be free to discover new inspirations I may have never imagined before if I had given myself too many simpler goals to chase. I dunno, maybe this sounds like a copout of some sort. But it's just the way that I've gravitated towards living and behaving over this past year. Here's an example. I've always kept the dream alive of wanting to travel. But due to economical constraints, I've never really been able to do much. The last trip I made was Labor Day weekend 2019 to bury mom's ashes in Ohio. Coming up with the money for that trip felt ultra-miraculous. Prior to that, the last trip I ma...

live mini-session with Lorie Ladd, happened JUST NOW (well, a few days ago - Now, then)

I've been a member of Lorie Ladd's Patreon group since July, and I added my name to the list to be considered for one of her free, monthly "mini channeling" sessions, and just yesterday was selected to be invited to join her for this month's, which happened this afternoon. Fortunately, she allowed me to be the first one of the three she is doing today, to go first. So my question for my guides, that I have not been able to see clearly enough on my own, that she was able to illuminate for me had to do with the acts of fulfilling my life's purpose. And it was so funny because, during the opening grounding meditation that she did, she helped us all see that our collective life purposes right now is to shine our light, as lightworkers out to the world. More so now than ever before. And so I thought, "Okay, I know this, I've been doing this... maybe that really is all that I'm meant to do with the rest of my life." And I told her when we started ...

Gordon Ramsey; Life Coach, sorta

I surprise myself sometimes by the things I find that capture my attention. Lately, I've started binge-watching Master Chef. This hyped-up reality tv show that tries to give home chefs a chance to improve their skills, but also there is the lure of a cash prize and fame. I used to be afraid of Gordon Ramsey because all I really knew him for was his insane anger on that other competitive show of his called Hell's Kitchen, which I had never seen a full episode of before. (I've watched 6 seasons of Master Chef, as well of 6 seasons of Hell's Kitchen at this point in time.) What I find alluring about the show is the humanity that is focused on in the show. The contestants are very real and honest, and sadly what I benefit from watching this is having a sense of there being people in my life. Of course, I can't interact with these people, but in a bizarre way, I feel like the emotions they stir up in me while I watch the show makes me feel more human. I don't intera...

channeling 101

Today was the beginning of a new phase of a spiritual experience for me. Taking Lorie Ladd’s “Intro to Channeling” class revealed to me memories of things I have done in earlier lifetimes, as well have had glimpses of doing in this lifetime. I already have been channeling energies from spiritual entities, but with these new instructions, insights, and guidelines that Lorie shared today, I feel like I am about to embark on an exciting advancement of my abilities as a spiritual healer. She guided us through two meditations where she ushered spiritual beings into our individual presence. (I’d guess that there were several hundred participants in the class from all around the world.) At the very beginning of the class, she led us through a quick grounding exercise. During that experience, I started to see the beings that were waiting by the sidelines to “come into my space”, and I saw some types of beings that I have never seen in my meditations before. Namely, I saw giant-sized bein...

September blues

This has been a month barren of joy. For how joyful my birthday month has been over the past many, many years, I'm quite surprised that the month I usually experience the greatest joy in has been so dismal. I can attribute it to many things; my mother not being here to celebrate it with for one. Also, my son just moved his family out of state 3 weeks ago, so those are two very large components of my life that I don't get to interact with anymore. More so I guess giving credit to the world changes occurring in this bizarre year of 2020 deserves mentioning too. My spiritual evolution has been tantamount this year, so I am on the fence about believing that the sadness and disconnect I am feeling is not part of the bigger picture of how I am a different being now than I was this time last year. I am stronger and more enlightened spiritually than I perhaps ever been in this life, yet for what I have to show as developments and advancements in the physical world as a benefit of beco...

maybe no friends would be best...

Having a weird thought / idea right now ... And I bet it's something that a lot of people have figured out sooner than I have. When you create dependencies on people in the world, you give away your power. You look to others to feed you something that you feel unable to manifest yourself. And here's where I'm feeling this sharp stab come from. I have so few friends as it is (luckily, one of these friends REALLY understands me)... and I've tried to be a good friend, and to be of use to others in ways that I would hope to be reciprocated..  Okay, so here's where I'm seeing the holes in this objective of having friends. You either need to surround yourself with people that are so closely of like mind and common interest, people that are weird and thrive on the kinds of activities and ideas that motivate you, or else your going to feel incomplete. If you are a weirdo and all of your friends are normal, you're just going to appear as a circus clown to them. They...
