journal of experiences at Intuitive Way...

I want to start a small journal where I can talk about the experiences I'm having at Intuitive Way, where I'm developing my psychic abilities and clairvoyant skills. I've been taking classes here for 14 weeks now and have been having quite profound experiences.

When I took my first class here called "Meditation 1" I was introduced to meditation techniques that were very different than the ways in which I was taught to meditate at Gurumayi's Siddha Yoga ashram (in Oakland). There is no central point of focus in this psychic meditation like there was in the ashram - where we were taught to discover that God was the center of reality and that it/God dwelled inside each of our own hearts. Now I am being taught mechanical methods of meditation that enable my psychic sensitivities to "see" the condition of my energetic being "more clearly".

I believe that my experiences now would not be as powerful as they are if it had not been for my previous training in meditation. I do not feel like my old methods of meditating interfere with what I'm doing now. I've been away from the old methods long enough for them to not have dominating power over my mind. Part of the reason for that is that I've had periods of high focus, and periods where I went very long times without practicing meditation at all. I did start to meditate again this past year, and I was having very powerful experiences. I think this revival in my practice was part of what made me feel enthused about going into the program at IW.

So, I wish I had thought of writing this journal way back when the first classes began so that I could have had record of all of my learning experiences. To kind of jump in now and talk about what I'm experiencing at this higher level of training, the reader will be wondering what I had learned earlier that led to where I am now. I'll just have to begin now, and possibly consider backtracking and writing about earlier experiences later.

December 7, week 2 of ITP3 (Intuitive Training Program). The topic tonight was "trauma" that the human aura experiences. We learned that there are 3 types of trauma that we can experience. Physical, emotional, and psychic.

We were given partners to work with, and they were allowed to tell us what type of trauma they wanted us to heal. I chose an emotional trauma that I suffered when I was a young boy. My partner had a physical trauma that she suffered. When doing aura healings, so far in my experience at least, I mainly feel textures of energy thru the chakras in my hands. I also feel stronger (or lesser) flows of energy moving through my hands. I try to not think about what it is I am trying to adjust but let my intuition be the interpreter of what is going on with someone. I think I have a long way to go in the development of these abilities to where I'll be more clearly aware of what it is I'm affecting. A couple of people at the center have mentioned that they feel the healings I do are strong, which is a nice bit of feedback. I don't know how long I'll be able to stay involved with the training here because of the expense of the courses. I hope that I'll be able to keep going straight thru with the course. I don't want to lose steam in developing these skills.
