the joys of kratom

I don't even know exactly how many days it's been that I've been using kratom, close to a week, and I must say that I've never had such a revolutionary turn around in how I feel both physically and mood-wise about my health. Not in all the years that I've been using psych meds, that's for sure.

Two days ago I took a dose of Green Vein Malay and went for a long walk to the city library. A little over a two mile walk. In all the years I've lived in this city (40), I've never felt strong or healthy enough to make that walk. And not only did I walk there, I walked home from there with 15lbs of books in my backpack. Later that evening I decided to take the local bus to Walnut Creek to meet a friend. Another lengthy foot excursion ensued because it's over a mile from my house to the bus stop.

The day prior to that I took a dose of White Vein Malay, and had opposing effects in my mood and physical ability. I was psyched up from the experience I had the previous day of the fruitful trip to Santa Cruz and hoped to have a similar experience of being able to focus in concentration while reading/studying. Well, the white vein made me very relaxed, almost to the point of confusion because I could not make up my mind about where I wanted to go or when I would leave to get there. I ended up just staying home and relaxing. Now I'm going to just assume that the white vein is similar in purpose to the Maeng Da, which I'll probably never have need to use. I took some white vein last night to see if it would aide in sleeping, which it did. Slept for 7+ hours, very nicely.

So today i took another dose of green vein and decided to walk to the Danville Library.  A 5 mile walk, and another walk I've never made in all the time I've lived here. Don't want to say that it was effortless because my calves are a bit sore from all the walking I've been doing, but I went ahead and did it, thinking that I'll just take the bus home. Now that I'm here I feel so good that I'm just going to walk home, no questions about it. Also, tomorrow I have a doctors appt with my pdoc at 1pm in Concord. And I'm getting up early to take the bus and Bart there because my car is still in the repair shop. A journey I would NEVER have made pre-kratom.

My mood is exemplary and my body feels good and strong. (And I'm sick of sitting in the house being over-ruled by the emotions of those that I live with.)
