Friday night at the movies - HEREAFTER

I hope this movie will make me cry tonight. I learned just yesterday that someone I have strong feelings for, that her mother died recently. It's a bit of a twisted story of friendship and miscommunication in the modern age that might make this am interesting story to hear, so I may take more time to tell it at length later.

Right now though I need to experience some emotions for this friend, for her loss, and for her. I miss her and sort of tossed her away when things didn't go the way I wanted them to. Some may think I'm a fool, and they'd be right.

I feel like I have something to make up to her. Again, I may totally be chasing a windmill but it makes me feel good to think that I might possibly mean something to her. We'll see.

Sometimes I hate the laws of karma that bind me to this reality so much. I hate living in a place that suffers this heat in the summertime so badly too and would gladly pay in slave labor to be able to live in Santa Cruz, or some other affable place near a pleasant seashore that would soothe my body... and my soul. I don't know why I'm not allowed to live in Santa Cruz.
