channeling souls, creatively...

 I had some quite enlightened thoughts and ideas flowing into my mind after I finished writing what I shared here last night. One theme that came in was the idea of how I can use this form of creative writing as a form of psychic channeling... I believe that I enter into an altered state of consciousness when I write. I begin my writing sessions by making an effort to connect with my very specific writing muses, I ask them to infect me with the energies that affected them when they were able to write their most poignant pieces of literature... but it goes beyond that too, they are not finite beings, they are gateway beings that tap into and channel the Greater Muse that inspires all creators. But when the Greater Muse flows into and through my personal muses, the energy of inspiration that reaches me is flavored with the life energies of these few humans that have greatly inspired me with the words they have commited to literature...

So the bigger idea I was toying with last night was of entering into a creative trance, which is also a psychic healing trance... and use this elevated state of consciousness into allowing my mind and my body to become a chalkboard for the spirits of dearly departed ones to enter me and speak thru me. As I write. It will feel both like a creative and a healing process for me.

This tinges on one of the ideas I had for a story last week, that story was of there being a meeting place in the ethers where souls could take a pause from their life journeys, sit down in a comfortable space and take some time to air what's on their minds. I pictured this "place" as appearing like a small cafe floating around the depths of space. It's a place that you are lucky to find when you do find it, but that you can never return to because "the cafe" is ever evolving too... You float into the cafe, and meet someone else entirely at random who also bumped into the cafe... 

The way I would channel souls here is to let these beings speak... it'll seem like I'm doing creative writing, but it will be a higher level experience. I will be listening rather than thinking... I won't be creating these stories, the actual being that I am channeling will be telling their story thru my hands, into print.

Okay, that's all I wanted to make note for right now... Let's wait and see where this will go!!
