just 3 things about today
I woke up early this morning, the side effect of irregular mixture of med dosing the night before and suggested to my mom that we go have breakfast at Denny's. Something we have not done in, I don't know, maybe 10 months. I ate my normal breakfast; the original grand slam with eggs over hard and two cups of coffee. I thought this would energize me early for a powerful and productive morning. I gave her one caveat, that I wanted to be back to the house so I could watch The Streets of San Francisco at 11am. Then I was going to get to work on my projects for the day. Well, i made it through TSOSF but then fell into a deep sleep, not waking up till 1:30pm. Ok, NOW I'll get to work. Well, the mail arrived and 3 books I had ordered recently all came at once. The most important that I'll mention is my Blurb copy of "Rachel - Cemetery Girl". And boy let me say it is more beautiful than I expected.
I wanted to get to work on my projects but gigi said that she needed to go to Costco. Ok, fine I said. That was another 90 minutes gone, and do you know what? I came home, laid down to watch the evening news and freaking fell asleep again!! This time it was from 6:15 to 7:30 and I freaking missed Jeopardy.
All that sleep today, I just could not get around to being focused enough to work on my next project; "Brenna - Cemetery Girl" volume ii of the series. She is actually almost complete except that I am thinking about adding some text to the blank facing pages that will tell a little bit of a story that ties into the larger project of my novel.

Otherwise, I sent out a group text message today to 5 people/friends asking for a one word description of how people were feeling today. Responses included, "hosed", "melancholy", "functional"; the word I responded with was "jazzed" because of the arrival of my photo book, which took a phenomenal 5 days to be printed and delivered.

And now it's 3:35am and I can't get to sleep so I sit here telling you these things. I have a headache and don't want to sit trying to concentrate on my photo book because I don't want to make any errors. Oh, and I doubly cannot sleep becuase I did not take Lithium or Lamictal tonight. Hopefully I'll readjust enough tomorrow to be feeling good enough for Friday's planned Cemetery Girl photo shoot with Presh.
