GRAYCEON @ Thee Parkside, last night...

I photographed two concerts this week. Tuesday night was The Damned show at Slim's and last night was a death metal show at a small bar on 17th Street somewhere in San Francisco. This was a great crowd, as you can see!

DAMN!! They were one of my late husbands favorite bands. I've seen them several times, but didn't even know they were playing at Slims. Too bad. I'm sure they were great.

How do I get to your flickr?

ohh, TickleDrop i'm sad to hear you lost your husband. i bet you both would have loved this DAMNED show. it was my first time to see them, and it was just so classy, you know? Dave Vanian is a real gentleman rocker. Such a presence! anyway, my Flickr account is DARYLDARKO. all my show sets are there. also, Slim's (http://slims-sf.com) sends out a newsletter each week with a Trivia Question - offering 5 sets of free tickets to randomly selected winners. that was how i got to see Adrian when he was there.

take care!

Thanks. I found the pics. And I do get the Slim's newsletter; for a while now.

So they've gotten rid of the female bass player. Darn.

ok, ok - i'll write something...

Sometimes I hate the laws of karma that bind me to this reality so much. I hate living in a place that suffers this heat in the summertime so badly too and would gladly pay in slave labor to be able to live in Santa Cruz, or some other affable place near a pleasant seashore that would soothe my body... and my soul. I don't know why I'm not allowed to live in Santa Cruz. When Billy and I became able to live there from 1995 to 1998 it was like we had won a huge lottery, like I had worked my way out of an enormous prison sentence and I was given a liberty to experience freedom from the previous 35 years of junk-karma I had created for myself. Was it the benefits of hard work? Or luck? Or karmic justice? Now I cannot even afford the price of a tank of gas for a day trip to Santa Cruz and my body aches so much from the mental woes and worries my mental disease inflicts me with, I'm afraid that if I got into the 50 degree waters for 30 minutes of body surfing that my musc...
