buncha 7's on the 7th... a GOOD DAY
The odometer on my car had a bunch of 7's and other pairs of matching numbers when I pulled into the driveway after my last drive of the day yesterday, May 7th. I knew that was a sign of a good day/and night ahead. I had just driven home from Savers, the place where I begin working tomorrow (May 9th) at what I am hoping will be a most fascinating and enjoyable job (working in the book department sorting out and pricing books that are donated by the public for Savers to sell).
So what the evening beheld was going to see U2 in concert with my 35-year-old son. I had never been to a concert with him before. And I had not been able to spend a lot of time with him over the past 15 years since he moved to Ireland. I really wanted us to have a memorable bonding experience with him, and this turned out to be a perfect thing for us to do.
I was going to say more about what I thought about the concert but my mind is a bit of a blur right now... maybe later I'll say more.
In other news, I got a new medication to help me sleep and I took it for the first time, haha, very early this morning, like at 3am. See one of the issues with my bipolar mind is that when I get excited about something I do during a day, namely taking photographs of what I did that day I become obsessed with processing and sharing those photos before the day ends. I couldn't shut off my mind and go straight to sleep after the concert last night. But that pill, wow, I think it really might do the trick for me. I actually had dreams that I could remember in the last hour of my sleep before I woke up early this afternoon. Now to see if I can get it to work in synchronicity to get me to sleep enough, and for the right stretch of hours to wake up in time to get to work at 8am tomorrow morning. Please pray for me.
