just a dream, but...

So I've been having better experiences of sleep consciousness recently than I have over most of the past year. Finding the right combination of sleep meds to take - to prevent me from either sleeping TOO deeply, or not sleeping deeply enough is an ever going quandary. (Right now I'm using small doses of seroquel, trazadone and melatonin, as well as healthy doses of red kratom. Haha, you are probably thinking "this guy is NOT well"... You are right to think so, but I'm light years better than I used to be with all the meds I used to be coerced to use.) Anyway, it's about 2 months now that I've been having dreams again. They are not always technicolor or memorable. I will work on getting better at recording them though.

So this dream this afternoon (yeah, I still have weird hours of awakening consciousness) had to do with two communities of people, who were neighbors in what really felt like rural Oregon. I was not exactly a member of either of these communities, but I seemed to have characteristics of beliefs that both communities adhered to. One community seemed tribal-like and were earth magick practitioners. The other were radical bible-type believers. The first group, the first impression I got from them in this dream was that they were considered to be witches - by their neighbors. I didn't see any formal signs from the other group that they were aligned with any biblical or Christian group, it was their reactions to the presence of the others that made me feel they had religious objections.

So here is a description of the scene that I saw. I walked through a tall forest of trees to my cabin. I was walking from where the magick-believers lived, so I must have been somewhat involved with them. Or at least I was comfortable with them. I really do not think I was a member of their group. It was like I was simply a dream visitor in this scenario. As I got to my cabin, which was at the end of the forest and right next to a huge wall that was made of cut-down tall trees - kind of like what they show in The Walking Dead communities.  Just before I went inside the cabin I looked up at the top of the wall and saw an older man that looked very brusque and angry reach over and slapped a "decree" of judgement onto the wall - for the other tribe to see. I couldn't read it but I knew from the feeling of the action that it was something like a declaration of war. And that was the only person I saw that gave me this whole assumption that they were religious in nature. Haha, he kind of looked like Moses posting the 10 commandments on the wall ;)

Then I go inside and I go to my room and lay down on my bed. I think I wanted to meditate or dream so that I could get more understanding of where I was and what was going on, but before I closed my eyes someone from the tribe came in and sat down on a chair next to me. The person had a look and feeling of my real life acquaintance Kari, who lives in San Leandro. If it was really her or not I do not know. It felt good having a recognizable face though. She put her hands on me in a "healing fashion" and said that I needed to receive some information to be able to understand and to prepare for what was ahead. It felt like she was downloading this "information" from a higher source of consciousness. It also felt to me like I had received a wound of some sort and that the pressure she was applying with her hands was to prevent me from bleeding out. It was not painful pressure, but it was very strong. Because of how she was holding me this way I really began to feel like I was wounded and she was not going to let me go until I was healed. One hand was placed on my heart (chakra) and the other was on my left shoulder. I really felt like I was losing energy thorugh these two spots. I could almsot see a plasma like substance oozing out of me. She kept talking to me with a pleasant voice while this was going on, and even though I didn't clearly understand the language she was communicating with, I believe she was telling me details about these two different communities.

Me, personally? I would never use the term "Satanic" to describe the characteristics of the earth-healers, because of my mixed heritage of once being a bible religious believer - and knowing how that term is overused and misunderstood by bible people. But there was something earth-fatherly, alternative and opposing to Christianity about them that in the proper understanding of the term Satanic could be applied to them. I also say this because there seemed to be a person that was the head of this group. A man that the uninitiated would confuse and mistake to be a Satan-like leader. From the info I was getting downloaded into me I knew that there was nothing evil in bible terms about this man. Interestingly, I really got this earth-father feeling from this guy, as opposed to the typical earth-mother sentimentality that is so prevalent in the world today. Maybe this guy was the earth-mother's husband?! And he was alive, in human flesh.

So my "healing/download" finally became sufficient enough for me to continue with my actions in this dream. As soon as I sat up a little boy came into the room. He was a wild-looking, earthy little fellow - dressed up in hunting/warrior like garb. I was told by "Kari" that I needed to give him a ride back to where he lived. I think he may have been a child of the leader of the tribe, but even if he was not, he was very closely aligned with him and had a lot of respect for him. The boy did not like the look of me though and argued that I was not safe for him to travel with. I guess that maybe since I was not a direct member of either community he thought I was a member of the other side. Or at least that I looked like them. I didn't mention that "Kari" looked like an earth-child too, wearing dark, soft clothes that blended with the look of the forest and soil. She wore feathers too. I don't think they grew out of her though. Which is an interesting point too because recently I've had several dream and meditation encounters with shapeshifter humans that turned into birds. She was not a shapeshifter. She was human but highly integrated with earth energy.

So we are sent off with some urgency to get the boy back to his home. He keeps fidgeting and resisting traveling with me, but Kari keeps assuring him that I am safe, and "chosen" for him to travel with. We get in the car and drive back deeper into the woods where their community buildings are. Now a pretty strange thing happened on this drive. The kid knew we were approaching something that really scared him. I couldn't even see it because it was off the road hidden in the forest. He didn't want to go near it and was convinced that I was taking him there. While I was driving he opened the door and jumped out to escape. I pulled the car up the driveway and what do I find but a MORMON CHURCH. No, there was no sign, but it just made it known that this is what it was the feeling it gave off. I parked the car and went inside to find him. and sure enough there he was, captured by two security guards. Like he was magnetically pulled into the place. My having an appearance that looked similar to them, I was not hassled. I went to the guards and said that they needed to release him to me, that I was on assignment to return him to his father. So they let me have him and we got back into the car.

Then I discovered that there was a device in the car that gave us direct ability to communicate with him, the father, the leader. It was like an air vent that carried his voice. Really weird! As soon as the boy heard his voice he started to calm down. But this was my first direct contact with the leader, and oh my goodness, he sounded so inhuman and "demonic", haha. Perhaps otherworldly is what I should say. Like his voice was coming through from another dimension. And this is pretty much where the dream faded out, as we were driving further into the darkness of the forest to where I was to deliver the boy too.

Okay, that's all. I love writing out my dreams because this gives me more time to contemplate them, and I find that as I write I recall a lot more details. And to interpret them. I'd never get so much out of my dreams if I did not write them down. And it gets me writing too! I can always benefit from having something to write about. If I get any more insights into this dream, I'll come back and write them down.

One last thing in this post, I've noticed that recently there are three people reading my postings. I have no idea who you are though. Would you be so kind as to leave me a comment? I regularly change the URL for this blog so it's hard to find me if you were a former regular friendly reader. Just curious who is finding this info of interest right now.
