let's kick this up to a new level of involvement, okay?

Before I get too far into this let me tell you that things have been taking amazing changes in my life over the past two months, since I began this new meditation training. I am developing my psychic skills with the intent of becoming a clairvoyant healer. Meditation is not a new thing for me, but being able to meditate is key to being able to do this invisible, inner work. Since I have been practicing meditation off and on for the past 2 decades, this elementary stage of development has been pretty easy for me. Yesterday in class, something pretty substantial occurred. I was introduced to a "healing master" that is my own personal sidekick now for doing healing works thru and with. I can't find any other traditions that talk about this type of thing occurring. I think the group I am getting my training thru has developed this kind of agreement with "spirit" to give people this unique kind of training. I'm not the first, nor last student to go through this experience.

Anyway, I want to describe what the experience was like last night. Last week we did preliminary exercises in learning how to "feel" another person's aura. The experience I had was not very exciting, or convincing. I kinda felt like I was just feeling and touching the air around this person. I went through the motions of following the shape and space that an aura might fill. I had one sensation though that I could not explain, and that was that it felt like a gentle breeze blew across my wrists while was moving my hands - not generated from the speed at which I was moving my hands, which was too slow to create a breeze. It may have been a supernatural experience, but I wasn't sure.

Well, last night when we went into meditation to meet and welcome the healing master that had been arranged for us to join forces with, I had a very clear experience of seeing this being, and of hearing its name. "He" was tall, and he looked like the Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz - in that instead of being made of straw, he was made (and covered) with tree bark and branches. He looked like, the only term that came to me, was a "woodsman". But he is genuinely made of wood. Later it started to feel to me that he was actually a "tree spirit", a dryad. Which is something that goes with my own lifestyle and personality so very much. I have been fascinated by trees and the spirits that dwell inside of them for most of my life. I am obsessed with photographing trees, and in certain phases of my past, I have been able to communicate with trees. Have actual conversations with them.

So now I have this living ascended master type of spiritual being that has agreed to work with me as a force of healing power that I can join with to heal other people in the world. After that meditation finished we tried another experiment of "feeling and healing" a classmate's aura. The healing master attaches to the back of our hands, we give them permission to do this, and it is the only way in which they are able to work through us, for now at least - I guess. So I stood up behind my partner, asked for her permission to give her a healing, and began to go through the motions of checking out her aura. Instantly there was a difference. I felt confident, for one thing, that there was a force working with and thru me that was above and beyond my own power or understanding. My hands really did feel like they were being guided. Like they had a new intelligence, and they moved around this person deftly and with an inner knowledge of what was going on with them. I came to one position in the act of "flossing her chakras" where I felt a thickness, a density that was more profound than in her other chakras. I closed my eyes at that point while I was manipulating her energy there and didn't get any visions or words to describe what I felt, but hey, this was my first time to do this. I knew it was her third chakra, and afterwards, when I told her about what I sensed, she affirmed that she knew of that chakra being clogged up.

Our teacher for this class is pretty hip, and she gave us all kinds of encouragement to be flamboyant in getting to know our healing master. To talk to it, to send it on distant/remote healing assignments, and that we can ask it to heal ourselves. I'm no spring chicken when it comes to talking to out-of-body beings, so I started talking to my guy right after class. I sent him off almost immediately to give my mom some healing - not an uncommon thing for me to do considering all the normal prayer I do for her. But it felt different. It felt higher powered and it felt like he was eager to be involved in helping all the people he could that I know.

I went to sleep last night with thoughts of asking him to help me dream, but also of wanting to see if there was a way he could help me get over my undisciplined manner of being a writer. And he did, first thing I thought when I woke up this morning was that I should get out of bed, walk down the street and write in my blog at Starbucks, or McDonalds... heheh, but my tired body and lazy mind resisted the suggestion and I chose not to go out this morning. I could have though. And I may very well do so tomorrow. I will make a wiser decision about how I will get myself to sleep tonight (not so much medicine) and I'll wake up brighter and more bushy tailed. And well, I am here tonight writing in the blog, so yeah, there ;)  The bigger thing I'm thinking about asking him is that when I use my hands to write, that he go ahead and attach himself to my hands and insert his healing energy to flow through those hands into the words that I write. We'll see how it goes...  :)

p.s. oh yeah!! my healing master's name is Charles Winchester!! I heard him say it loudly, clearly, and proudly, heheh ;)
