latest up date, in other words; where you been dude!
Blog, blog, who’s got time to blog anymore. Hee hee I don’t! But there are important things to notify you about, and this is an important opportunity for me to rekindle awareness within my own heart and mind that no matter what other ways I find to express myself creatively, I am still, and always be primarily a writer.
I am on a pretty strong manic build right now. Not a dangerous feeling one though because there is nothing I’m involved in that threatens my soul’s emotions on a personal level. In other words, I’m highly activated mentally and creatively but I am not involved in any sort of spiritual quest where my heart is at stake. God, can I use a lot of words to make little or no sense? Trust me, I am doing well.
I’m going to school, again. And I’ve changed my course of study, again. I live my life on the cuff and go with the flow, I’m a surfer baby and it’s time for the competition at Mavericks! I’ve gotten into some digital photography classes, and am going to learn how to use Photoshop and Dreamweaver (properly). So in the end, other than just polluting the internet with my sub-par quality photography (at Flickr) I may become able to develop some marketable skills.
In one of my classes, the class that offers the most opportunity to develop my creativity we are going to have a project making zines. I have plenty of time to work on ideas for this but some of my initial thoughts have to do with making some sort of visual interpretations of what happens in my novel. This could turn out wonderfully because I just had a little brainstorm vision of my novel maybe becoming an illustrated story of some sort.
Other news, I’ve made a lot of new contacts with people in the past month and a half. Primarily through SF Bay Area Flickr meetups. Nobody yet that I’ve met up with to do anything outside of group meetings but give it time, there are some people that I have good feelings about developing friendships with.
Okay, I think that is all that I will say for now. As always, feel free to leave comments or ask questions; or tell me how you are!
